The Challenge

Worth, an organisation dedicated to transforming lives through mental health education and advocacy, faced the challenge of making their crucial message about SMI physical health checks stand out in crowded, distraction-filled environments like GP offices and hospitals. The goal was to ensure their message reached healthcare professionals in a clear and impactful way.

The Work

We began by visiting GP practices to understand the crowded, visually overwhelming environments. Space was limited, and typical healthcare posters blended into the background. To stand out, we designed large, impactful posters using bold, unconventional colours. The triptych format told a cohesive story, avoiding common mental health clichés like flowers and sunshine, ensuring the message was clear and attention-grabbing.

The Outcome

Our poster campaign helped Worth clarify and focus their message, ensuring that healthcare professionals were more aware of the importance of SMI physical health checks. While the posters were one part of the outreach, they contributed to a more cohesive communication strategy that improved engagement and opened doors for further contact with practice nurses.
